Dissemination of results from project PROCURE – Creating a good local economy within Association’s Steering Committee and General meeting for ATU members
The Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association implements the project PROCURE-Creating a good local economy financed by the URBACT III Program. According to the planned and budgeted activities under this project, a training program was developed in the field of public procurement aimed at improving the knowledge, training of the personnel in the field within the members of the local group, respectively ATU members of the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association, meaning the correct and even uniform application of european and national legislation in the field of public procurement.
On April 26, 2018, was held at the Satu Mare County Council, Association’s Steering Committee and General meeting.
Within Association’s Steering Committee and General meeting, Paul Dancu, project’s local coordinator, disseminated the results of the Procure project, the communication-visualization elements (the partner poster, the infograph, the subtitled film of the project). Mr. Csaba Pataki – President of Association highlighted the importance of the experience gained through the thematic meetings within the network.
We herewith remind that the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association is one of the 11 partners within this project in which are involved the following public authorities: Preston-UK having the role of lead partner, Almelo-Netherlands, Koszalin and Lublin-Poland, Prague district 9 – Czech Republic, Bologna-Italy, Koprivnica-Croatia, Albacete and Candelaria-Spain, Nagykálló-Hungary. The project is primarily aimed at exploring ways in which public authorities can use public procurement so as they contribute to creating a good local economy and bring social and environmental benefits to local communities.
