Local group meeting within the project EPICAH – Effectiveness of Policy Instruments for Cross – Border Advancement in Heritage, phase 3



On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, was held the Local group meeting within third phase for EPICAH project – Effectiveness of Policy Instruments for Cross – Border Advancement in Heritage.  The project is funded by the Interreg Europe Program, and phase 3 has a total budget of 381,503.85 EUR of which 324,278.27 EUR from the European Regional Development Fund.

Phase 3 is dedicated to the implementation of additional activities on mapping and exchange of experience and good practices in the post-COVID context in the field of cross-border natural and cultural heritage, respectively tourism.

The agenda of the meeting included the following points:

  1. Presentation of the report of the peer-review visit (exchange of experience) for examples of good practices at stage 3 of the EPICAH carried out in Plzen-Czech Republic;
  2. Presentation and discussion of the joint report “How can the resilience of cross-border areas be increased as a result of the COVID pandemic19? – (Management and enhancement of the natural and cultural heritage as a dynamic element of the Economy through tourism) ”.

Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association is one of the 9 partners of the project, and the presentations were made by Liliana Vasil-Marinescu for the Annual Program for granting non-reimbursable financing from the local budget of Satu Mare County as Managing Authority and Paul Dancu-local coordinator of the project.
