The president of the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association, Mr. Csaba Pataki, signed the funding contract for the project “Towards an Inclusive Intercultural Educational System in the Cross-Border Area” – acronym INCLUSIV.EDU.
The project will be implemented by the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association as the lead partner, in partnership with the Association of Local Governments Bereg from Hungary and the Charitable Organization “Edelweiss” from Zakarpattia Region, Ukraine.The main objective of the project is to promote inclusive intercultural education in the cross-border area through joint institutional cooperation.
Project activities focus on promoting inclusive intercultural education in six schools in Satu Mare County through student camps, workshops for teachers, and exchange programs. The total project budget is EUR 299,944.26, of which EUR 269,949.83 is contributed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Next Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Program. The project will be implemented over 12 months, starting on January 20, 2025.
