The Monitoring Committee of the Interreg VI-A Romania-Hungary Program has approved the list of 9 projects selected for funding under the Specific Objective Health. The DECRISIS Project – Development of Child Rehabilitation Institutions, submitted for funding by the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association, has been selected for funding. The partners of the Association in this project are the Nyíregyháza District Educational Center and the Satu Mare Inclusive Education School Center. The total value of the project is €477,999.90, of which €382,399.91 is co-financed by the European Union.
The project is complex, with a focus on children with special educational needs, and the project activities include:
- The acquisition of equipment/furniture and teaching materials for diagnostic and therapy activities;
- Equipping 16 medical/school offices in Satu Mare County with furniture and equipment;
- Creating a modular therapy island (modular containers) at the Satu Mare Inclusive Education School Center;
- Organizing training courses for teachers and therapists and training sessions for parents;
- Organizing summer camps for students with special educational needs;
- Developing an action plan for the inclusion of children with special educational needs.
- The duration of the project implementation is 24 months from the signing of the financing contract.
