Digital education has taken another important step forward in Satu Mare County. Through the STEMLab Synergy project, three educational institutions have been equipped with modern facilities tailored to their specific needs: Bârsău de Sus Secondary School, “Mihai Viteazu” Secondary School in Moftinu Mic, and “George Barițiu” Technological High School in Livada.
At Bârsău de Sus Secondary School, a completely new classroom was created and equipped with modern furniture and state-of-the-art IT equipment, providing students with an environment designed for practical activities and the development of digital skills.
At “Mihai Viteazu” Secondary School in Moftinu Mic, a fully equipped robotics and computer science laboratory was established. The laboratory features modern technologies that allow students to learn through practical, interactive experiences while becoming familiar with fields that are essential for the education of the future.
At “George Barițiu” Technological High School in Livada, the investment focused primarily on providing the school with modern teaching materials and educational equipment for classroom activities, contributing to more interactive lessons and a better understanding of the curriculum.
Overall, the project provided 27 laptops, 26 virtual reality headsets, two interactive whiteboards and one interactive display, two printers, 31 3D pens, one fixed 3D scanner, as well as additional IT equipment, teaching materials, laboratory equipment and modern furniture.
The procurement was carried out through a simplified public procurement procedure organized into four lots and included the supply, transportation, installation and commissioning of the equipment for the three educational institutions and the Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association. The total value of the four procurement contracts amounts to RON 449.964,02.
