Proiect realizat cu suportul financiar al Agenţiei Naţionale pentru Romi-Guvernul României
On Wednesday, August 26, 2020, was held the launching conference of the project “Caravan for Roma children from Satu Mare County” at the Satu Mare County Council. The event was attended by the Public Manager of Satu Mare County, Mr. Szabolcs Nagy, the project team, representatives of partner-project local public authorities, local media. At the end of the project launch conference, a working meeting was held with the representatives of the involved local public authorities in order to establish the caravan schedule.
The project “Caravan for Roma children from Satu Mare County” has a total value of 33,340 Lei, of which 30,006 Lei awarded funding from the National Agency for Roma People through the Program “Promoting a healthy lifestyle through information, non-formal education and awareness”. The project will be implemented in August and September 2020. The project aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among disadvantaged communities in Satu Mare County by organizing health education sessions and non-formal education sessions for students and parents in partner localities from Satu Mare County. Thus, 250 disadvantaged children, mainly Roma, aged between 6 and 12 years and 250 parents/tutors of these children will participate in health education sessions of information, education and awareness on the risk of illness of the family and community , but also at non-formal education sessions (puppet theater).
The 10 sessions of health education and the 10 sessions of non-formal education will be organized in September in the following partner localities / communes in Satu Mare County: Tășnad, Culciu, Doba, Dorolț, Oraşu Nou, Pișcolt, Santău, Săcășeni, Tiream and Turulung.
