The Satu Mare County Intercommunity Development Association, as lead partner in the project INCLUSIV.EDU – Towards an inclusive intercultural education system in the cross-border area (HUSKROUA/23/S/3.1/012), funded through the Interreg VI-A Next Hungary–Slovakia–Romania–Ukraine Programme, organized a series of six puppet theatre performances between June 2–6, 2025, in partner lower secondary schools in Satu Mare County. The performances took place at: “Csury Balint” Lower Secondary School Agris, “Gellert Sandor” Lower Secondary School Micula, “Vasile Lucaciu” Lower Secondary School Apa, Poiana Codrului Lower Secondary School (grades I–VIII), “Fenyi Istvan” Lower Secondary School Căpleni, and Terebești Lower Secondary School.
The puppet shows brought joy and enthusiasm to more than 200 pupils aged between 6 and 11, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and open educational environment where cultural diversity is valued from an early age. Each performance lasted at least one hour and was adapted to the children’s level of understanding, aiming to convey educational messages through creative and accessible methods. At the end of each show, pupils received customized promotional materials purchased within the project.
