General objective: Improving access to mental health services for disadvantaged children in Satu Mare (RO) and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (HU) counties through infrastructure modernization, professional training and strengthened cross-border institutional cooperation.
Specific objective: Creating optimal conditions for therapy and rehabilitation activities, developing the capacity of educational and medical staff, involving parents in the rehabilitation process, and developing a joint long-term cooperation plan.
Expected results:
– Establishment of 1 modular therapy island at CSEI Satu Mare;
– Renovation and equipment of therapy rooms at the Bárczi Gusztáv School in Nyíregyháza;
– Equipping 16 school/rural medical offices in Satu Mare County;
– Training of 50 professionals (teachers, therapists) in modern intervention methods;
– Training of 100 parents in home therapy techniques;
– Creation of a database of mental health actors in both regions;
– Organization of workshops, cross-border camps and experience exchanges;
– Development of a 5-year joint cooperation plan.

Main objective of the project: To enhance the quality and relevance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education in secondary schools across Satu Mare County (RO) and Zakarpattia (UA), bridging the gap between education and labour market needs and fostering cross-border cooperation in education.
Specific objective of the project: The project aims to improve access to high-quality STEM education for 8,046 secondary school students aged 12–17 by establishing 7 modern science labs, training 17 teacher trainers and 30 STEM teachers, and organising motivational and awareness-raising activities, such as cross-border camps, competitions, and profession fairs.
Expected project results:
– 7 modern cross-functional science laboratories created (4 in Uzhhorod National University, 3 in Satu Mare schools);
– 17 teacher trainers trained and certified to deliver STEM professional development programmes;
– 30 STEM teachers trained in modern, interactive teaching methods and use of digital tools;
– Over 8,000 students gaining access to modern STEM facilities;
– Awareness campaigns and profession fairs to promote STEM careers among students;
– A cross-border STEM camp and competition fostering innovation and collaboration;

Main objective of the project: To promote the common history and traditions of Satu Mare (RO) and Hajdú-Bihar (HU) counties through the art of photography, strengthening cross-border cooperation and mutual trust between communities.
Specific objective of the project: The project includes the establishment of two informal photo clubs in Carei (RO) and Téglás (HU), two cross-border photography training sessions for 24 young participants, free local training for at least 200 people, a travelling photo exhibition, a historical photo corner in Ardud Castle, the development of a multilingual website, and the installation of a digital info kiosk in Téglás.
Expected project results:
– 2 functional informal photo clubs in the cross-border area;
– 24 young people trained in cross-border photography courses;
– 200 people participating in free local photography courses;
– a mobile photography exhibition in at least 4 cross-border locations;
– a historical photo corner installed at Ardud Castle;

Main objective of the project: Strengthening cultural cooperation and promoting the shared cultural heritage by expanding the thematic route of castles in the cross-border region.
The main activities of the project include: rehabilitating the Vécsey Castle Park in Livada (56,000 m²); renovating the roof of the Tapay Mansion in Fehérgyarmat; equipping castles and mansions with IT tools; creating a dedicated website for promoting castles and mansions in the cross-border region; organizing cultural festivals and experience exchanges.

The main objective of the project: it aims to support the nine partner cities in developing Integrated Action Plans focused on the integration of gender equality principles (and opportunities) into public procurement processes.
Specific objective of the project: Promote gender-responsive public procurement at local and European level;Raise awareness and empower the target audience through sharing experiences and good practices;Transform the technical and bureaucratic perception of public procurement into a crucial tool for promoting gender equality (and opportunities);Encouraging strategic public procurement by including social and environmental clauses in public contracts;Increase collaborative mechanisms between institutions in local and European ecosystems
Activities on a network level:
Starting with a Baseline Study concentrating on comprehending the distinct challenges faced by the partner cities, there will be both local and transnational initiatives aimed at disseminating best practices and providing tools to change how people think about Public Procurement and Gender Equality.
This ongoing work on Gender Responsive Public Procurement presents a possibility to diminish gender and social inequalities by incorporating social criteria into contracts and examining the ways public services can endorse equality.
7 transnational meetings brought together network partners to exchange experiences and learn from each other in the field of gender-responsive public procurement. There will be five thematic transnational meetings in online format.
Activities on a local level: 9 integrated action plans have been produced (IAPs) based on the specific problems and solutions, as well as on the conclusions drawn from the transnational exchanges.
There will be 11 meetings of the URBACT Local Group to develop the Integrated Action Plan (IAP).

Main objective of the project: The project “Planting forests for the future!” has as its main objective the development of forest communities in Satu Mare County, including by promoting the responsible management of forests and complementary to increase respect for nature by educating the young generation on the importance of forests for a cleaner future.
Specific objective of the project: – The main activity of the project consists in the afforestation of a total area of 8.95 ha with black poplar and acacia and the maintenance of the plantations until maturity.
Main results of the project:
The lands to be afforested are owned by Păulești Municipality (5 ha) and Tiream Municipality (3.95 ha).
